Windsor Family Resource Centers to Hold Free Morning Playgroups Beginning September 21
Playgroups Encourage Age Appropriate Activities and Positive Socialization
The Windsor Family Resource Centers will begin holding free daily morning playgroups beginning on September 21, 2015. These playgroups are free and open to all Windsor families at each elementary school for children up to 5 years old accompanied by a parent or a caregiver. Participants will enjoy meeting new friends, learning new songs, stories, hands-on art projects, and a light snack.
These playgroups provide young children with stimulating age appropriate activities and the opportunity for positive socialization. Research has shown that children who attend programs such as these playgroups develop essential social-emotional skills. Please see below the current playgroup schedule:
- Mondays, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. JFK School
- Tuesdays, 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Poquonock School
- Wednesdays, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. LP Wilson, Gym time
- Fridays, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Clover Street School
If you have any questions please call Betsey Lepak at (860) 687-2080 x. 105.
