Windsor Felon Faces Weapons Charges In Federal Raid: Prosecutors

A local man was charged after federal agents raided his home Wednesday morning.

WINDSOR, CT - A convicted felon's home was raided and he was brought up on federal charges that he possessed firearms and ammunition, according to a statement from the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut and ATF Boston Field Division.

David McKemmie, 30, of Windsor, was charged by federal criminal complaint with possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon. To sign up for free Windsor news alerts and more, click here.

At about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday, ATF agents raided McKemmie's 61 Park Ave. home. McKemmie was found with nine handguns, two AR15 rifles, an AR15 pistol that had no markings, more than 500 rounds of ammunition, and various firearms parts and materials used in the construction of firearms, according to the statement.
