Windsor Girls, Xavier Boys Repeat As Class L Indoor Track Champions

NEW HAVEN, CT — It was deja vu all over again at the Class L indoor track championships Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center. Windsor High School edged E.O. Smith to win the girls team championship for the eighth consecutive season, while on the boys' side, Xavier captured its third straight crown by outdistancing runner-up Bethel.

Kareema McKenzie of Windsor was a double champion, taking the 300-meter run and the 55-meter hurdles. Other two-time winners were Hannah Andrejczyk of Shelton (1,600, 3,200) and Talia Graham of Bethel (pole vault, long jump).
