Windsor High School Receives Votes in Latest Boys Basketball Poll

The Warriors have won seven of their first 10 games this season.

WINDSOR, CT — Defending Class LL champion Hillhouse remained undefeated, and also remained at the top of the latest weekly high school boys basketball poll.

The Academics improved to 11-0, and snared 18 of 20 first-place votes from members of the Connecticut sports media.

Windsor High School (7-3) did not place in the top 10 this week, but received some support from voters.

Here are the top 10, with records through Jan. 22:

  1. Hillhouse (11-0)
  2. Notre Dame-West Haven (10-0)
  3. Sacred Heart (9-0)
  4. East Catholic (8-1)
  5. Weaver (9-2)
  6. East Hartford (8-1)
  7. Middletown (9-2)
  8. Wilton (9-0)
  9. South Windsor (9-1)
  10. Fairfield Warde (9-1)

Also receiving votes: Notre Dame-Fairfield (9-1), Bassick (9-1), Holy Cross (9-1), Windsor (7-3), Norwich Free Academy (10-1), Kennedy (9-1), Trumbull (10-1), Crosby (8-3), Ledyard (8-2), Bethel (9-1), Westbrook (8-1), East Hampton (10-1), New London (7-3), Wilbur Cross (8-3).
