Windsor High School Swimmers Experience Success at Class M Championships

MIDDLETOWN, CT — After posting three runnerup finishes since 2012, the Brookfield High School girls swimming team finally broke through Tuesday, capturing the Class M state championship at the Wesleyan University pool.

The Bobcats compiled 688.5 points to outdistance runnerup Lauralton Hall, which had 646.5.

Windsor High School had two individuals and a pair of relay teams finish in the top eight. Destiny Johnson was second in the 50 freestyle and Amber DeCarlo placed sixth in 1 meter diving, while the 200 freestyle relay team was fifth and the 400 freestyle relay team wound up eighth.
