Windsor Hires Investigator In Case Against Cop: Report

The town has hired an independent investigator to review a complaint against a police officer.

WINDSOR, CT - The town will hire an independent investigator to look into a driver's claim that a police officer made "disparaging remarks" about her and deleted audio footage of the incident, according to the Hartford Courant. The town will hire Marcum Advisory Group, a Boston firm, at a cost of $10,000.

The case is related to a two-car accident on Broad Street in February. One of the drivers, Cristina Santos, filed a complaint against Officer Michael Tustin due to his actions at the scene. To sign up for South Windsor breaking news alerts and more, click here.
