Windsor Library To Host Children's Events
A special visit by Mystic Aquarium is among the highlights of upcoming library events.
WINDSOR, CT - Windsor Public Library has several events coming up. The Mystic Aquarium will present Ocean Rocks Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. as part of the library's Kidspace program.
The hands-on event will let kids get close with marine animals, while learning about how these animals survive in their environment. The event is for children five to 10 years old.
On Thursday, Aug. 16, the Kidspace program will include a Summer Finale with the Toe Jam Puppet Band Hoedown from 1 to 2 p.m.

On Aug. 23, at 10:30 a.m., the library will host Let's Get Ready For Kindergarten Storytime & Party. This will include kindergarten-themed stories and acknowledge special attendees who completed their '1,000 Books Before Kindergarten' reading challenge.
