Windsor Man Charged With Attacking Elderly Hospital Staffer

STAFFORD, CT — A Windsor man was charged for allegedly attacking an elderly staff member at Johnson Memorial Hospital, an arrest report indicates.

The incident took place on Dec. 6, state police said. Troopers were called about at staff member being assaulted, according to an arrest report.

Te staff member was assigned to watch Nicholas Hargrave, 22, of Windsor, who was at the hospital for an undisclosed reason, according to an arrest report.

Hargrave is accused of Attacking the 75-year-old staff member unprovoked at about 9:30 p.m., according to a warrant. He allegedly threw her against a wall and hit her in the back of the head several times, a warrant states.

He was charged with third-degree assault on an elderly person, assault on a medical staff member and breach of peace, state police said.
