Windsor Man Struck By Car in Granby
The man sustained serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

GRANBY, CT - A Windsor resident sustained serious injuries when he was struck by a car on Route 189 in Granby Wednesday morning.
Police have identified the pedestrian as Evan Jackson, 23. He sustained serious, although at this time not believed to be life-threatening injuries, Capt. William Tyler said.
The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was Michelle Allen, 19, of Granby.

At 8:51 a.m., Allen's southbound passenger car struck Jackson crossing the roadway west to east. Jackson was with a commercial landscaping firm working at a nearby residence, Capt. William Tyler said.
Jackson was transported to Hartford Hospital via ground ambulance. Allen was uninjured, Tyler said.

Route 189 (Granville Road) was closed for several hours as police investigated the accident..
The incident remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed, Tyler said.
