Windsor Middle School Teacher Honored

Sage Park’s Cay Freeman, former Windsor Teacher of the Year, was recently presented the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) Middle Level Teacher of the Year Award and a Ronald McDonald Charities Local Hero Award.

During the event, Cay accepted a $1,000 check from the Ronald McDonald House Charities to be used for a school initiative. Principal Paul Cavaliere concluded the event with a strong positive message to Cay and his staff about the positive impact they are having on the students of Windsor, according to the district’s website.
