Windsor Obituary: Albert Prince, Jr., 90

Condolences to his family and friends.

Albert C. Prince, Jr., 90, of Windsor, husband of the late Annemarie (Boelsen) Prince, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018.

Born in Haverhill, MA, son of the late Albert and Leah (Primrose) Prince, he was raised in Haverhill and lived in Ellington and Anderson, SC before moving to Windsor 4 years ago. He served in the US Army during W.W. II and had been an Engineer and Plant Manager for Jacobs Chuck Mfg. Co in both West Hartford and Clemson, SC.

He also was an adjunct instructor at the Tri-County Technical College, Pendleton, SC in management training. He consulted with various companies in the manufacturing industry. Albert enjoyed golf, hiking, bowling, travel, and geography.

He leaves two daughters Erika L. Melnick (Grant) of Enfield and Sandy McKeown of Vernon; three grandchildren Heather Williams (Brian), Sean McKeown and Kevin McKeown (Carmen); and four great grandchildren Reid, Grace and Owen Williams, and Nico McKeown. Besides his wife Annemarie he was predeceased by a brother Alfred and sister Zelda.

His family will receive friends for a celebration of his life Sunday, February 25, 2018, from 12-2 pm at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor.
