Windsor Obituary: Andrew Bolasevich, Sr., 89

Andrew "Andy" T. Bolasevich, Sr., 89, of Windsor, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Barton) Bolasevich, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Kimberly Hall Nursing Home.

Born in Windsor to the late Mark and Mary (Tofil) Bolasevich, he has been a Windsor resident all of his life. Andy was a member of the Wilson Volunteer Fire Dept for 22 years and also a member of the Winsor Elks Lodge #2060 and the Windsor Rod & Gun Club. In his spare time he loved fishing, vegetable gardening and spending time with his dogs.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew T. "Tommy" Bolasevich, Jr. and his wife Susan of South Windsor, and Robert Bolasevich and his wife Sherylanne of Suffield; his brother Edward Bolasevich of Windsor; his sister Annie Keiper of Windsor; his grandchildren, Scott and Amy Bolasevich; and his loving companion poodle "Chelsea". Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Lenny, Walter, John, Frank, Phil and Mike Bolasevich.

His family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Kimberly Hall South and his nurse Jill Nelson for their compassionate care of Andy.

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Wednesday, January 25 at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor. His family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM. Burial will be private.
