Windsor Obituary: Ann Morin, 61

Ann E. (Pavelski) Morin, 61, of Windsor, beloved wife of Roland Morin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her home.

Born in Eau Claire, WI to Bruce Pavelski and the late Grace Mary Pavelski, she lived most of her life in St. Louis, MO moving to various cities like Fort Lauderdale, FL before settling in Windsor over 13 years ago. Ann was a caring and gracious woman who loved her pets and had a passion for helping animals. She donated her time and money to many local and national organizations including the ASPCA, Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, and the Humane Society.

Growing up Ann swam competitively and held an AAU record for the 50 meter backstroke.

Besides her husband Roland of Windsor, she is survived by her father Bruce Pavelski of Oro Valley, AZ ; her stepson Daniel Morin of Enfield; her stepdaughter Samantha Morin of Artesia, NM; her step granddaughter Jacqueline Morin of Enfield; her sister Niki Stern and her husband Rich of Oro Valley AZ, her brothers, John Pavelski and his wife Donna of St. Louis, MO, Geoff Pavelski and his wife Judy of Madison Heights, MI, Gregg Pavelski and his wife Sue of St. Louis, MO, her beloved golden retriever, Kahlua, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 30 at the Sacred Heart Church, 446 Mountain Rd Suffield. Her family will receive friends on Monday, January 29 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor.
