Windsor Obituary: Elijah Murray, 75

Elijah Murray (Midget), 75, of Windsor, passed away February 12, 2018 at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation.

Elijah was born in Darlington, SC on March 5, 1942 to the late Doss Murray, Sr. and Lillian (McGee) Murray. Elijah was a business owner for over 30 years; and will be remembered for his commendable personality; those who knew him remember his humor, seriousness, and dependability.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory loving wife Ludell (Hugee) Murray, sons; Robert Barren (Loretta) of NC, Christopher Davis (Roshe) of Hartford, Michael Murray of Southington, daughters; Sonja (Rohan) Daire of Windsor, and Stephanie Francis (Paul) of E. Hartford, brothers; Joseph B. Murray (Shirley) of SC, Doss Murray (Tawana) of Waterbury, sister Tressie Turner (Jimmy) of E. Hartford, 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by brothers; Lawrence, Eddie, and Otis Murray, and sister Maggie Blake Murray.

A celebration of his life will take place Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11AM at The First Cathedral; 1151 Blue Hills Ave., Bloomfield. Friends may call at the church from 10-11AM. Interment will be held at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery; Bloomfield.
