
Kenneth J. Maliga, 66, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Mary (Martz) Maliga, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Hartford to the late Bronislaw and Rose (Niemiroski) Maliga, he was raised in Windsor and has been a Windsor Locks resident for over 30 years. Kenneth loved collecting, repairing and selling antique clocks and trains, and played drums in his band, "Rock Cult", but his main focus was his grandson whom he loved dearly.
Besides his wife Mary of Windsor Locks, he is survived by his sons, Kenneth Maliga, Jr. of Vernon and Nathaniel Maliga of Windsor Locks; his grandson Mason Maliga; his brothers, Richard Maliga and his wife Linda of Somers, Jeffrey Maliga and his wife Kim of Somers, and Gary Maliga and his wife Gina of Suffield; his sister Karen Caruso and her husband Benny of Windsor; his Goddaughter and niece Jacqueline Maliga and nieces, Meghan Maliga, Danica Caruso, Krista Comptos and her husband Jon, Andrea DiGregorio and her husband Luca; and his nephews, Eric Maliga and his wife Jackie, Jeremey Maliga and Ryan Maliga. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son Kevin Maliga.

A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Saturday, December 17 at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N, Suffield. His family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 3 PM to 5 PM. Burial will be private.
