Windsor Obituary: Linda Hunt, 62

Linda A. Hunt (Dumont), 62, of Windsor, beloved wife of Franklin Hunt passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 11, 2018.

Born on February 9, 1956 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Agnes (Chaloux) Dumont. After 27 years of loyal service at Hartford Healthcare Credit Union, Linda was able to retire and pursue her passions. Linda loved reading, enjoying a sunny day at the beach, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was a mother, grandmother and friend who welcomed everyone with open arms and a never-ending smile.

In addition to the love of her life of 43 years, Franklin, she is survived by her children Corey Hunt and his wife Nicole, Chris Hunt and his partner Alissa Matthews, her cherished grandchildren Madeline and Aiden Hunt, Godchildren Brittney Dumont and Darnyll Simpson, siblings Laurene and Scott Schectman, Lisa Dumont and Christopher Thomas, Michael and Diane Dumont, Marty and Valerie Dumont, Mark Dumont, and Matt Dumont, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lorna.

Her funeral service will begin on Saturday, March 17th, at 11:00am at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newington Memorial.
