Windsor Obituary: Mary Paul, 95

Mary R. Paul, 95, of Newington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard C. Paul.

"Aunt Mary" as many knew her was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Eugene and Delia (Scully) Francis. She came to Newington in 1964 and most recently moved to Kimberly Hall in Windsor.

Mary was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, their Ladies Guild and the Nine Hole Group at Indian Hill Country Club. She was a First Life Member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 91, in Moosup.

A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her two sons, Leonard Paul of Marietta, GA, Michael Paul and his wife Lisa of Arlington, VA, her four grandchildren, Kelsey Gutierrez (Victor), Jeremy, Lindsey and Riley Paul and her two great grandchildren Keaton and Tallie. She also leaves her niece Joan Haber of Windsor and nephew Gregory Haber of Arlington, VA. Her son, Gerald Paul, nephew David Haber, sister, Frances Haber, and her brother-in-law, Edward Haber, predeceased her.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Sept. 30th, from 10-11 a.m. at Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Newington. Burial will immediately follow in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington.
