Windsor Obituary: Patricia Sanderson, 64

Condolences to her family and friends.

Patricia Ann (Chaia) Sanderson, 64, of South Windsor, beloved wife of Robert B. Sanderson, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 12, 1951 in Hartford, the daughter of Beatrice (Kosky) Chaia and the late Stanley Chaia. Patricia grew up in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School with the Class of 1969. She married Robert Sanderson in 1971 and together they raised their family in Manchester for over 25 years, before moving to South Windsor in 2000.

Patricia was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend who will be remembered for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She enjoyed crafts, comedies, cooking and entertaining family and friends. Patricia also loved to read.

Along with her husband Robert of South Windsor, and her mother, Beatrice of South Windsor, she leaves her daughters, Karen Seybold and her husband Jason of Springfield, MA and Kristin Sanderson of South Windsor; her brother, Stephen Chaia of South Windsor; her beloved grandson, Nathaniel Seybold of Springfield, MA and many extended family members.

Family and friends may gather on Monday, August 29, 2016, 9 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd.; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Margaret March Church in South Windsor. A private burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m.
