
Richard Francis Daley "Russ", 71, of Broad Brook, beloved husband of Holly (Keb) Daley passed away from cancer on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Born in New Haven to Ruth (Koffinke) Daley and the late Otis Daley, he graduated from Windsor High School in 1963. Upon graduation he joined the US Navy as a Radar Technician on the USS Wasp CV518. The ship and its crew tracked the orbital flights of the Gemini and Apollo missions. They also recovered the capsule and astronauts after the capsule landed in the ocean. Richard was very proud of this period of his life.
Along with his wife Holly Keb MacLeod Daley, he is survived by his mother Ruth Koffinke Daley; his two sons Jonathan M. Daley and Christian Daley, both of Jacksonville, FL; and his two stepsons, Marshall MacLeod of CT and Brice MacLeod of FL. He was predeceased by his father Otis Daley Jr. and his brother Ronald F. Daley.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 2 at the Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery, East St. Windsor.
