Virginia Anne (McDermott) Cleaver, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Cleaver, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on her 80th birthday, Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Born in Hartford to the late Edward J. and Virginia (Buckley) McDermott, she was raised in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1954. Virginia and Bob moved to West Hartford in 1979. She enjoyed crafts, bowling and playing scrabble. But her true passion was her family and attending all her grandchildren's events. She also loved spending winters with Bob in Florida and camping with her special friends.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hughes Health and Rehabilitation in West Hartford for their compassionate care of Virginia.
