Windsor Police Officer Earns Honor
A Windsor police officer was recognized for work that department officials said has stood out inside the agency and across the community.
WINDSOR, CT — A Windsor police officer has received one of the department’s top yearly honors.
Officer Cosker was named the Windsor Police Department’s Officer of the Year, according to a department post shared May 14.
Police said Cosker is known for bringing a positive attitude to work, responding quickly to calls, helping fellow officers and mentoring recruits as a field training officer.

The department also credited Cosker for conducting thorough investigations and setting a strong example through professionalism, teamwork and dedication.
What stood out most, police said, was the respect and compassion Cosker shows while serving the community.

“Officer Cosker truly represents the department’s core values of Integrity, Responsiveness, Innovation, Passion, and Partnership,” the department said in the post.
The department thanked Cosker for his work and invited residents to congratulate him on the recognition.
