Windsor Produces Champions, Placewinners at State Open Track Meet

The State Open indoor track and field championships were contested Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Windsor High School produced a championship relay team and three other placewinners at the State Open indoor track and field championships Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

The 4 x 200 relay team of Cori Richardson, Camille McHenry, Athena Camacho and Tia Marie Brown finished in 1:45.54, nearly a second ahead of runnerup Conard. Marcus Manson was second in both the 300 and 600 meter runs, while the girls 1600 sprint medley team took sixth.

Danbury edged Hall to capture the boys team championship, while Greenwich easily outdistanced Danbury to win the girls title.
