Windsor Public Schools Invites Community Members to Welcome Reception for New District Leaders - May 26

New Employees include Mr. Uyi Osunde, Dr. Santosha Oliver, and Mr. Matthew Dadona

Windsor Public Schools is hosting a Welcome Reception to introduce the newest employees joining the district’s leadership team. The reception will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the Windsor High School Library from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. and the community is invited to attend.

The new hires include Mr. Uyi Osunde, Windsor High School Principal, Dr. Santosha Oliver, Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services, and Mr. Matthew Dadona, Curriculum Supervisor for Career and Technical Education (CATE). All three hires will assume their new positions at Windsor Public Schools in July 2016.

Mr. Osunde has served as assistant principal at Illing Middle School at Manchester Public Schools since 2013, where he collaboratively works to advance academic initiatives, improve curriculum, school climate and parent/guardian relationships. He successfully works with district leadership, support staff, team leaders and teachers to address the academic, social and career aspiration needs of more than eight hundred students. Mr. Osunde will replace Russell Sills, who has been appointed as the new Director of School, Family, and Community Partnerships.

Dr. Oliver has served as the Director of Teaching and Learning for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) at Manchester Public Schools. Her responsibilities include curriculum development, accelerated mathematics programming, professional development implementation, and district improvement planning, among others.

Mr. Dadona has worked at Windsor High School for the last six years as a Technology Education Teacher. During that time he has been instrumental in helping to transform the woodworking, manufacturing, and CADD programs. He has also helped to increase the visibility and prominence of the department. Mr. Dadona will replace Deborah Maccarone, who will be retiring at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.

For those that would like to join us in welcoming our new district leaders, please park in the visitor parking lot near the main entrance to Windsor High School off of Sage Park Rd. Light refreshments will be served.
