Windsor School Bus Drivers Vote To Unionize
Bus drivers for the Windsor school system will join Local 671.
WINDSOR, CT — Windsor bus drivers employed by Dattco have voted to unionize, according to The Hartford Business Journal. About 85 drivers have joined the Local 671, a chapter that currently represents drivers in nearby towns like Bloomfield, East Hartford, Hebron, and Manchester.
A union official told The Hartford Business Journal that they intend to negotiate a contract "that's on part with the exceptional wages and working conditions" that the union has achieved for other area bus drivers.
