
WINDSOR, CT - Windsor High School student Isaiah Saylor has lost a battle with sickle cell anemia, according to a statement from the district. Taylor, who was a member of the class of 2020, died Friday.
"Losing a member of their school community can be quite devastating for students and our greater school community," Superintendent Craig Cooke said in a statement. "We send our sincere sympathies to Isaiah’s family and friends."
Social workers and counselors will be on hand to support students and staff Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m.

Students and community members should use the main entrance to the building and then proceed to the counseling office. For more information, contact the high school's main office.
