Windsor Students Receive CABE Student Leadership Awards
Students nominated by their school principal and exhibit various leadership skills
Windsor High School students Gianna Wood, Kris Varholak and Sage Park Middle School students Anahilee Cauley, Evan Petkis were recently recognized by the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education (CABE) with Student Leadership Awards.
Students are nominated to receive this award by their school principal. Students nominated should exhibit the following leadership skills:
· Willingness to take on challenges
· Capability to make difficult decisions
· Concern for others
· Ability to work with others
· Willingness to commit to a project
· Diplomacy
· Ability to understand issues clearly
· Ability to honor a commitment
Superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke, BOE Vice President Leonard Lockhart, Windsor High School Principal Uyi Osunde, and Sage Park Middle School Principal Paul Cavaliere posed with each student along with their families at the May 16th Board of Education meeting.
