Windsor Voters Reject $111.5 Million Budget Proposal

The town council will now make adjustments to the budget proposal and schedule another referendum.

WINDSOR, CT - Residents narrowly rejected a proposed $111.5 million budget for the town during a referendum Tuesday, the Hartford Courant reported.

1,456 voters, or 52 percent, rejected the proposal, while 1,343 were in favor.

Just under $2 million had been included in the plan for community improvements.
