Windsor Wins Big, Earns Berth in Football Championship Game

WINDSOR, CT — Windsor jumped to a 27-7 lead and never looked back, defeating Middletown 40-14 in a Class L football semifinal matchup Monday night.

Tim Gardner scored five touchdowns and rushed for 204 yards to keep a perfect season alive for the Warriors.

Top-seeded Windsor (12-0) will face No. 2 New Canaan (11-1) Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Willow Brook Park in New Britain. New Canaan is seeking its fourth straight title.
