
Windsor Community Television (WIN-TV) and Station Manager Jenny Hawran were recognized at the 64th Annual Chamber of Commerce dinner on Friday, June 21st 2013. The annual dinner is held to give awards to businesses and individuals who have shown their utmost devotion to community service.
Hawran received a Volunteer of the Year Award from the Chamber of Commerce and First Town Downtown in appreciation for her support and dedication to business and the community. As part of WIN-TV’s recognition, Hawran accepted a check in the amount of $2,525 for WIN-TV’s participation as a beneficiary of the Chamber Cares Auction which was held on April 4th. The purpose of the auction is to raise money and support the beneficiaries for their contributions to the community.

WIN-TV is a non-profit television station that provides the Windsor community with the ability to express their thoughts as well as the opportunity to learn about the various aspects of television. The station is located at the L.P. Wilson Community Center. All of the content featured on WIN-TV is filmed and created by community volunteers.
