Young Child Lost in Windsor Park Found Safe

WINDSOR, CT — What could have been a nightmare for a mother hiking with her children in a Windsor park quickly turned to relief and elation after her 3-year-old son, who had wandered off from the group, was found safe minutes later.

The incident happened Tuesday morning at Northwest Park on Lang Road.

NBC Connecticut said the youngster wandered off, so his mother immediately called 911 and the boy was quickly located.
