1 Injured In Shooting On I-91 Near East Windsor: Police

Connecticut State Police are seeking information from the public regarding the shooting.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police are asking for the public's help after one person was injured in a shooting on Interstate 91 near East Windsor early Saturday morning.

Connecticut State Police said troopers received a 911 call shortly after 2 a.m. regarding shots fired on I-91 northbound near exit 44. According to police, a person was driving a white 2019 Honda Accord in the center lane of three when a dark-colored SUV or truck pulled up alongside the car and fired multiple shots.

Police said the victim was struck by gunfire multiple times. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

After further investigation, police learned the victim had left the Flaming Llama Night Club in Hartford before the shooting.
