2 Windsor Locks Residents Killed In Crash In Stafford, IDs Released: State Police
State police released new details about the fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.

STAFFORD, CT — Two Windsor Locks residents riding on a motorcycle were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 190 in Stafford on Friday afternoon, State police said Sunday.
At 2:15 p.m., state and Stafford police responded to an accident involving a motorcycle and a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder. The accident occurred in the area of Route 190 and Fenton Road.
The driver of the motorcycle, Frederick John Zorick, 63, of Fernwood Drive, was declared dead at the scene, state police said. The passenger on the motorcycle, Debra Jean Zorick, 61, of Fernwood Drive, was taken to St Francis via LifeStar helicopter with serious, life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital, state police said.

The driver of the Pathfinder, a 17-year-old, was not injured and declined medical attention, state police said.
"Initial investigation indicated Vehicle #2, a Nissan Pathfinder, traveling east on Rt 190 (Buckley Highway), drifted into the westbound lane, striking motorcycle #1 head-on," state police wrote in an accident summary. "All involved parties and witnesses remained on scene and are cooperating with State Police.
