WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A $20 investment in a CT Lottery scratch ticket at a local liquor retailer provided a windfall for a Windsor Locks resident, who won the game's top prize of a quarter-million dollars.

Chandrakant Ghetia won the last of four top payouts on a $250,000 Cashword 8 ticket, which he purchased at Clay Hill Package Store on North Street. He claimed his winnings Monday, according to the CT Lottery website.
