6-Figure Lottery Prize Won By Windsor Locks Resident
A CT Lottery ticket bought at a Hartford convenience store was worth more than $119,000 to a lucky resident of Windsor Locks.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Windsor Locks resident cashed in a 6-figure bonanza Tuesday on a CT Lottery ticket purchased at a Hartford convenience store. The lucky Fast Play - $5 Money Vault Progressive ticket, which paid out a prize of $119,485, was obtained at Sam's Quick Stop on Asylum Street.
The winner's name was not revealed in the CT Lottery's updated public listing of wins of $10,000 or more. Spokesperson Tara Chozet said, "Winners have the option of not having their name listed on our website. In the past, our system was set up so that in order to remove a name, we had to remove the entire entry, meaning it looked as though a prize was still out there. We updated the system so that we can still remove the winners' names, but keep the information about the game, date of claim, and prize amount public."
Chozet added that winners' names may be made available via Freedom of Information requests.
