The summer seasonal service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, using an Airbus A220 aircraft with 137 seats, the airport authority said.

Flights from Bradley to Louisville are scheduled to depart at 7:35 a.m. and arrive at 9:55 a.m. Return flights from Louisville are scheduled to depart at 10:35 a.m. and arrive at Bradley at 12:45 p.m.

The launch also comes as Breeze marks its fifth anniversary at Bradley.

“Today’s inaugural flight to Louisville coincides with Breeze celebrating its fifth anniversary at Bradley International Airport this week,” Michael W. Shea, executive director and CEO of the Connecticut Airport Authority, said in a statement. “Our ongoing partnership with Breeze and its expanding presence at Bradley has provided the community with added convenience thanks to a growing list of nonstop destinations and affordable fares.”

Breeze began service at Bradley in May 2021. Since then, the airline has carried more than 2.1 million passengers through the airport, according to the Connecticut Airport Authority.

Bradley also serves as one of Breeze’s bases. The airline now flies nonstop from Bradley to 23 destinations and has grown to five gates in the terminal, airport officials said.

In addition to Louisville, Breeze offers nonstop service from Bradley to destinations including Charleston, Cincinnati, Columbus, Daytona Beach, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Raleigh/Durham, Richmond, Sarasota/Bradenton, Savannah, Tampa, Vero Beach and Wilmington.

Breeze is also a local partner in events including Autism Flies and Honor Flight, according to the airport authority.

Travelers can find flight schedules and booking information through Breeze Airways.
