EAST WINDSOR, CT — The waterfront at East Windsor Park reopened Wednesday after receiving clearance from the North Central District Health Department, according to East Windsor Parks and Recreation.
The waterfront was open until 5 p.m. Wednesday. Swim lessons will resume on their normal schedule Thursday and Friday, Aug. 13-14, the department said.
The waterfront had been temporarily closed pending retesting. The splash pad remained open during the closure.
East Windsor Park, at 27 Reservoir Ave. in Broad Brook, uses the East Windsor Reservoir as an open-water swimming facility. The town says the North Central District Health Department conducts weekly water testing there during the summer. Read more from the town here.
