EAST WINDSOR, CT — A Broad Brook store recently sold a Connecticut Lottery ticket worth $10,000.
An Ellington resident won the prize playing the "$2,000,000 Jackpot" game, according to the Connecticut Lottery's winners list. The prize was claimed Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The winning ticket was purchased at Broad Brook Food Mart, located at 110 Main St.
The winner was not identified by name because the Connecticut Lottery stopped routinely releasing winners' names on Oct. 1, 2025, and now requires their permission before doing so.
