The Ins and Outs of Boating Along the Connecticut River

The East Windsor Friends of the Library is pleased to present a CT River Presentation by Capt. Karl Meyer on Monday June 11th at 6:30 pm at the Warehouse Point
Library.

A FREE CT River Presentation for all ages by Capt Karl Meyer to include how he got into boating and built his first boat. He will discuss some of the electronics
on the boat and what can be seen under the river sunken treasures and old bridges. He will also describe some of the dangers on the river and how they can be seen in Aerial photos and some History and Recreational opportunities along the Connecticut River. Capt. Karl Meyer will explain what is required to get a US Coast Guard captain's license. Currently he is the Commander of the Springfield  Power Squadron, and has spent the last 6 years mapping 130 miles of the Connecticut River above Hartford. Two sets of maps have been purchased and are
available at the Warehouse Point Library.

The presentation is FREE and sponsored by the Friends of the Library Association of Warehouse Point. This will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, June 11th at Library
