Annual Hartford 4-H Fair Set to Take Place Aug. 15-17
78th annual event, which is coordinated by local youth, features an antique tractor pull, craft show, 5K road race, and bands.

The 78th annual Hartford 4-H fair will take place on Friday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 17 at the Four Town Fairgrounds located on Egypt Road in Somers, just off Route 83.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 7-12, and free for children 6 and under. Parking is free.
The fair runs Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds go directly to the Hartford County 4-H Fair Association.

Throughout the weekend, visitors are entertained with 4-H livestock exhibits and shows, non-animal exhibits and demonstrations, 4-H dog show, doodlebug and horse draws, live bands on Friday and Saturday evenings, children’s entertainment, craft show 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, antique tractor pull starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, 5K Road Race on Sunday, food, and more.
