Elmira College, Elmira NY

• Makinsey Carolus of Broad Brook was recently awarded the Elmira College Julian Allen Prize at this year's Commencement exercises. The Prize was established for excellence in international business and is awarded annually on the basis of merit. Allen taught at Elmira College from 1981 to 1985. The Prize was endowed by the Allen family and the Corning Incorporated Foundation.
