Big Y Foods Inc. celebrates 80th Anniversary with Make-A-Wish Connecticut though "Wish Stars" Promotion

March 3 - March 30

In honor of its 80th Anniversary, Big Y Foods, Inc., a locally owned grocery store chain with headquarters in Springfield, MA, has partnered with Make-A-Wish Connecticut, inviting customers to purchase “Wish Stars” at check out at all 61 Big Y World Class markets, including at 31 stores in Connecticut. Stars cost $1.00 each and customers are welcome to write their name/s on their Wish Star for display in their store. Funds raised through the sale of “Wish Stars” in Connecticut, March 3 – 30, will help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions throughout the Big Y communities.

And on March 17, Big Y will match all Wish Star purchases and any additional donations up to $8,000.
