Last weekend's high heat was tough on that tender fresh produce we all love and Barbara from George Hall Farm in Simsbury had a recommendation we love. Don't head out for shopping and other errands without a cooler to keep your super fresh finds nice and cool in the summer heat. Shadow Valley farm will be at the market with honey, milk and ice cream and they agree with Barbara. You will also want to stash lettuce and herbs in with your eggs in the cooler.
