EAST WINDSOR/ENFIELD, CT — Construction work is ongoing in the Brookside Plaza in Enfield on a new Burlington store, which will relocate from its longtime site in the Cohoes Common Shopping Center in East Windsor.

Burlington’s new location, in the space formerly occupied by Walgreens, is expected to open in the fall, according to a company spokesperson. It will feature an updated, clean design, making it easy for customers to navigate. Merchandise includes ladies’ apparel and accessories, comfortable and casual finds for kids, footwear, baby items, home décor and pet care and toys.

Part of the renovation project involves a 6,725 square-foot addition to the rear of the building and a relocated loading dock. The existing landscape islands in the loading area will be re-formed to allow for truck access, according to a site plan.
