Campus Notes - Windsor Locks, East Windsor College Students

WINDSOR LOCKS-EAST WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

American International College, Springfield MA

• American International College awarded 600 undergraduate and graduate degrees to students representing 14 states and six countries at its 2018 Commencement ceremony. Julia Montana of East Windsor received a Bachelor of Science in Biology; Michael Long of Windsor Locks received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in General Business; Gina Polastry of East Windsor received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Nursing; and Kristen English of Windsor Locks received a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Physical Therapy.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• Thomas Angell, of Broad Brook, is one of 24 students who spent two weeks studying at the College's campus in Rome, Italy, as a member of the SOPHIA program (SOPHomore Initiative at Assumption College). The group, accompanied by College President Francesco C. Cesareo, Ph.D., spent their time exploring various parts of the city, visiting and learning about historic landmarks, including the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps and Saint Peter's Basilica in their search for a deeper connection between their spiritual, personal and professional lives.
