• Jessica Kuzmickas from Windsor Locks is a 2017 graduate of Salem State University. She was a business major and was named to the Bertolon School of Business Dean's list for the spring 2017 semester.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Elena Covill has been named to the Siena College President's List for the Spring 2017 semester. Covill is from Broad Brook. The President's List requires a 3.9 grade point average or higher.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced Jessica Veloso of Windsor Locks has qualified for the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned a cumulative 12 credits over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following local students have been named to the Dean's List for spring 2017: Nicole Vasseur of East Windsor, Peter Graywacz of Windsor Locks, Ryan Bagdikian of East Windsor, Bryan Haricharan of East Windsor, Nesma Mohamed of Windsor Locks, Jordan Cook of Broad Brook, Jacob Reilly of East Windsor and Erin Aldrich of Windsor Locks.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Aubrey S. Vargas, of East Windsor, starred in Western New England University's spring production of Beauty and the Beast to sold-out audiences at Western New England University. Vargas is a freshman Marketing - Communications/ Advertising major and is the leading lady, playing Belle. This is Aubrey's second production with Stageless Players. She played Clarice in the fall semester's show, The Servant of Two Masters. Aubrey was also in numerous productions throughout her high school career, including The Importance of Being Earnest as Gwendolen Fairfax, and Footloose.
• Clayton Cassone of Broad Brook has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the spring semester of 2017. Cassone is working toward a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
