American International College, Springfield MA

  • American International College in Springfield, MA has named 495 students to the fall 2016 Dean's List. Dean's List students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0. Local honorees are Dominique Boyd of Windsor Locks, Kathryn Morrell of East Windsor and Gina Polastry of East Windsor.

  • Assumption College has announced that 486 students have been named to the college's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a five-class, 15-credit semester. The Dean's List is announced twice per academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester, and again at the completion of the spring semester. Honorees from Broad Brook are Thomas Angell and Sarah Ouellette.

Elmira College, Elmira NY

  • Elmira College released its Dean's List for Academic Achievement for the fall 2016 Term. The Dean's List recognizes students that have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher. Students honored from Broad Brook were Madison Carolus and Makinsey Carolus.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

  • Nathan Seaha of Windsor Locks was named to the Emmanuel College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

  • The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,401 students have qualified for the fall 2016 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, other states and more than 16 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. Local students honored are Elizabeth Bachman of Windsor Locks, Vincent Brigada of Broad Brook, Christian Flynn Librizzi of Broad Brook and Kathleen O'Boyle of Windsor Locks.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

  • Western New England University's Stageless Players presented their fall production of The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni as adapted by Constance Congdon, an award-winning playwright and Playwright-in-Residence at Amherst College. The Servant of Two Masters is an Italian comedy written in 1746. Aubrey S. Vargas of East Windsor played the part of Clarice. She is a freshman Marketing Communication/Advertising major. Aubrey was in numerous productions throughout her high school career, including The Importance of Being Earnest and Footloose. She is a member of the Class of 2020 Council, as well as the Emerging Leaders Program. This is her first year with Stageless Players.
