• The Assumption College Office of Student Affairs has announced that Thomas Angell, of Broad Brook, Class of 2020, has been selected among a significant pool of applicants to serve as a 2018 Orientation Leader. The Assumption College Orientation Leaders, guided by the Catholic principles of Assumptionist tradition, are dedicated to supporting incoming first year students during their transition to college. Interactive and collaborative experiences during three different orientation sessions in June - led by the orientation leaders - help both students and parents alike reflect on what it means to be an emerging adult in a college atmosphere. Orientation leaders will guide incoming students on their journey of becoming individuals of critical intelligence, thoughtful citizenship, and compassionate service as they embark upon their undergraduate journey.
