Career Burglar Nabbed Again In Windsor Locks: Police

Abdullah Rashid already had 24 convictions before he was caught again recently, police said.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - Abdullah Rashid, 77, was caught breaking into Old Stonebrook Village last month at 550 Old County Road. It wasn't the first time for Rashid, who has been convicted 24 times mostly for burglary charges extending all the way back to 1973, according to police.

On June 21, police said Rashid entered the assisted living facility through an unlocked door and began rummaging through rooms. He eventually left the building with a laptop in his possession.

A warrant for Rashid's arrest was executed Wednesday and he is being held on $75,000 bond. He was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.
