Case Continued for Windsor Locks Man Accused of Killing Seven Cats

The case against a Windsor Locks man accused of killing seven cats that belonged to his fiancée’s family was continued on Tuesday, according to WTNH.com.

Timothy Olschafskie, 21, appeared at Enfield Superior Court but a judge postponed the case until Dec. 4 to give Olschafskie’s lawyers more time to investigate an undisclosed matter, according to the report.

Olschafskie remains held on $150,000 bail after being charged with seven counts of animal cruelty in the alleged killings of the cats. He has pleaded not guilty.

The cats were the pets of his fiancée’s family that took in rescue animals in Windsor Locks.

According to previous reports, the cats were thrown around the house and suffered blunt force trauma, bone fractures, lacerations to internal organs and skin torn from their bodies.

Animal rights supporters have previously protested outside court, but according to WTNH, only one protester attended Tuesday’s court proceeding.
