Chekhov in the Capitol City: Corpus Quixote presents "Ivanov"

Hartford-based theater company to perform the little-seen "Russian Hamlet" for two weekends only

In a uniquely intimate performance space, Corpus Quixote presents, in its inaugural performance, Chekhov’s Ivanov, set in a 1920s-inspired America at the brink of its downfall.

Considered “The Russian Hamlet”, Ivanov unravels the tragic tale of a crushingly knotted man’s relationship with his dying wife, his regrets and mistakes, and his own depression.

You’ve never seen anything like it before.
